Navis ArrayTex's “Whole Range” concept allows for
complete beginning-to-end processing using the best available
equipment for each individual application, including padding,
vacuuming, dyeing, pre-drying, entry and exit systems, and high
speed winding. Widths are available from 60 to over 158 inches
(1.5 m to over 4.0 m). Other widths are available on request.

The chain to be furnished will be P5 chain body of high strength roller powdered metal alloys with a case hardness of 60 Rockwell to eliminate chain wear. The connecting pins are case hardened steel with special lubrication passageways. The chain is lightweight, suitable for high speeds, and maintains s very straight pin line. Heavy-duty brass pin plates are included.
A.
High Production TM-2000 Dryer/Oven – Performance
is optimized for specific applications. Marshall and Williams'
experience provides for uniform airflows across the width and
length of the process range. A.C. inverter drives on the circulation
fans allow the most flexible and maximum efficiency for the widest
range of fabrics and processes.

B. Dual
Air System - Navis ArrayTex Dual Air System provides
separate adjustment of the top and bottom nozzle air velocities.
This design insures fast, repeatable, and linear adjustment of
nozzle velocities over the entire operating range. Additionally
with an optional controls package, nozzle velocities become part
of the process recipe.
This system is
especially useful for delicate fabrics, coated webs, pile fabrics
or any application where precise air velocity control is required.

a. Nozzles
- TM Nozzle provides the relaxing and superior drying for all
types of fabrics and application. Special application nozzles
are available.
b.
Heating Systems (Gas or Oil/Steam)

C.
Lint screens

C. Automatic Control System with Touchscreen
- A Wide Range of Control Systems can be used on the Navis PlanaTex Dryer.
Several
Features are:
-
Temperature Controls
-
A.C. Inverter Circulation Fans
-
Pyrometers for Precise Curing and Thermofixing/Heatsetting
-
Option for Separate Upper and Lower Airflows
-
Exhaust Humidity Control
-
Total Process control from one Operator Panel, optional recipe
download is available
-
Option for Fully Integrated Plant Wide Systems

a.
Zone/temperature profile

b. Width
Controls - Width adjustment is accomplished by the
use of a reversible electric motor and reducer connected to
each cross screw or gearbox and line shaft located outside the
heated area. Transducers are mounted at each cross screw to
measure width. The Transducers prevent hinge breakage caused
by extreme rail angles. Width read-out is displayed for each
cross screw at the operator interface terminal.

D. Tenter
Entry
a.
Knit Overfeed System (knits) - For applications
of Knits that need overfeeding, Navis ArrayTex Overfeed provides Overfeed Pin-On with a speed range of
-10% to +40%. In special applications where more is required,
this rate can be increased to over 60%.

E.
Cooling Zone - The Navis ArrayTex Cooling Zone
is a modular unit that uses plant air to cool the fabric or web
after the tenter. A wide range of widths are available to match
the process. The Cooling Zone can be used in series to achieve
the proper cooling for the specific process. One and Two fan models
are available.
