Depending
on the application, the Navis PlanaTex brand will recommend different
chain and rail configurations.
A. X-3000
- The Navis PlanaTex X-3000 Horizontal Tenter Rail and
Clip incorporate a center-pull, monorail design. Fabric pull load
and speed are increased, while reducing maintenance.

Other features
include:
- Higher Pull
Capacity than other manufacturers
- Higher Speed
than others, in excess of 300 yard/min (275 m/m) have been achieved
in normal operation
- Continuous
Monorail System on Tenter Rail
- Bearings pull
against monorail and are not part of transport chain, eliminating
impact of turnaround sprockets
- Durable stainless
steel jaw insert and cloth plate are perfectly matched by a
proprietary machining process insuring long life between repairs
- Increased area
behind jaw facilitates easier clipping
- State-of-the-art
self-lubricating transport chain bushing reduces maintenance
requirements
- The ball bearings
can be re-lubricated when necessary without removing the chain
from the rail
- Long-life carbon
graphite surface supports weight of chain and clips
B. TM-2000
- The Navis PlanaTex TM-2000 Horizontal Chain and Rail
Assembly is a roller chain with pre-lubricated ball bearings.
Designed for a nominal 8,000 hour mean time relubrication. The
TM-2000 has a Precision, Die-Cast Aluminum top. The TM-2000 two
piece chain is designed for speeds up to 200 yards/min. (180 m/m).
A Proprietary Machining process is used to assure an even and
long-life clip surface. Chain design allows for Clip, Pin, and
Clip/Pin Combinations.
The Rail is fabricated
steel with hardened steel wear plates and graphite wear surfaces.

C. TM-300
- The Navis PlanaTex TM-300 Horizontal Chain and Rail Assembly
is continuously lubricated. The TM-300 has a Precision, Die-Cast
Aluminum top. The TM-300 two piece chain is designed for speeds
up to 200 yards/min. (180 m/m). A Proprietary Machining process
is used to assure an even and long-life clip surface. Chain design
allows for Clip, Pin, and Clip/Pin Combinations.
The Rail is fabricated
steel with Ampco wear surfaces.

D. #44
- The Navis PlanaTex No. 44 Horizontal Chain
and Rail Assembly is continuously lubricated. The No. 44 is designed
for speeds up to 150 yards/min. (140 m/m). Chain design allows
for Clip or Pin.
The Rail is fabricated
steel with Ampco wear surfaces.

E. Mercerizing
Tenter - The Navis PlanaTex No.48 Mercerizer Horizontal
Chain and Rail Assembly is continuously lubricated and designed
for the heavy pulls associated with mercerizing. The self-lubricating
chain bushing reduces maintenance. The chain is lubricated by
the caustic solution. The No.48 Mercerizer, a two-piece chain,
is designed for speeds up to 150 yards/min. (140 m/m). Chain is
designed for Clip.
The Rail is a steel
with hardened wear surfaces.
